On a solo nature walk in North Conway, New Hampshire last fall, I found peace in the slow currents and the gently falling leaves. When I saw these photos, they reminded me of that reflective walk and was immediately drawn to it's imagery. I could almost smell the fallen leaves, hear the babbling brook...

This design was painted as part of the weekly Instagram challenge called Landscape Art Club, where artists create art based off reference images from around the world. Reference images are from Cochrane, Canada. Photo credit: @fire_power.
