In fall 2024, I painted this beautiful autumn leaf that I found on a walk with our elderly pup, Minnie. She may waddle and be a bit crochety, but take her past a pile of leaves?? No leaf goes un-sniffed.

The actual leaf now dried and taped to the wall beside my desk, and the painting is a reminder of the tiny treasures we find when we slow down enough to notice them.
