From helping my mom with her garden beds to collecting wildflower bouquets from back road wanderings - flowers have held me in awe since I can remember. One of my top character strengths is appreciation of beauty & excellence (to take the test yourself, click here), so it’s no surprise that these brief blooms captivated me.
As I grew older and started becoming more aware of the passing of time, these fleeting experiences of beauty prompted deep feelings of gratitude, joined by a bittersweet longing for time to stand still, even though  the subtle scents and soft petals are bound to fade.
