The practice of trusting the process was a huge factor in finishing these particular types of paintings. They taught me that sometimes it’s not helpful to try too hard. It’s better to trust that your instincts will lead you down the right path (most of the time).

While traveling for Mother's Day this year, I was asked to make a few cards while visiting my parents. Using my limited palette and water brushes, I painted a loose watercolor floral design without planning it ahead of time. I liked the style so much, I made some designs for my shop!
