This is one of two paintings I created while plein air painting on the Marginal Way cliff walk in Ogunquit, Maine. Along the path, there are many benches to choose from, but I decided to choose one tucked away so I could stay and savor the beauty for as long as I wanted. Using a limited color palette and a set of travel water brushes, I created this painting that represents the magic that can happen when you slow down, observe, and appreciate the beauty around you.
